So, I used to have a very high opinion of John McCain. Although policy-wise we are very much in disagreement, I could certainly think of a number of cases where I would feel compelled to vote for a McCain Republican ticket over a Democrat ticket.

Bush yesterday:
This administration never said that the 9/11 attacks were orchestrated between Saddam and al Qaeda. We did say there were numerous contacts between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda. [

The Washington Post has an interesting article today about
Congressional restoration of anti-gang funding. The White House tried to cut these programs—which are proven effective and apparently have had significant results—to almost nothing. The cuts included both crime prevention and investigation.
