Hide the printer

Inspired by this
concept printer/table at Unclutterer, I went to Target this week and picked up a little table which does a perfect job of keeping my printer out of the way. I think printers are a bit like hot-water heaters; ugly utilitarian devices we need to use but would prefer to keep out of the way. I think this solution has a clear advantage over the concept printer table, though. When it’s time to replace the printer, you just need to make sure it fits in the space — you don’t have to also replace your table.
The cats like it, too. Cernunnos here has always been fascinated by stuff printing — now he has an excellent vantage point for watching the paper come out.

Ah, I love Target. I rushed over there yesterday morning to buy bookshelves on sale. 5-shelves for $22 and 3-shelves for $15. I bought $59-worth. I guess it’s especially helpful to shop for decluttering during the back-to-school sales. ;)
