After Christmas Random Blogging
December 29, 2005
I went home to Bristol for Christmas this weekend, where I experienced, as usual, a four-day-long wide-ranging discussion on politics, religion, and philosophy. I didn’t notice it as much growing up, but now that I’m not in the middle of it I suspected I did not have a normal family as much as a _really long_ Master’s seminar program.
Speaking of which, someone still owes me a copy of a particular essay on “textnocentrism” and needs to read “Phaedrus”:http://books.mirror.org/plato/phaedrus/ if he hasn’t yet.
Rest of you need to guess these two unguessed lyrics from the last two “guess ten” puzzles:
# We got something. We both know it. We don’t talk much about it.
# He said “I laid my weapons down with my pistol fully loaded.
And if you don’t know those, go read the new “Ginger Snaps review”:http://www.anvilandsprocket.com/article/190/ on Anvil & Sprocket.

You know that these drive me nuts, right?
Number one is Refugee by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
Number two is Sweet the Sting by Tori Amos.
