Office supply stores seem to be the WORST about this stuff. I once got a box that size from Staples that contained a single DIMM.

Yup. This reminds me of a lot of my Christmas shopping, which I did 90% of online this year. I’d order something small, and it would come in a huge box, often with the item taped to the bottom. Like they can only use one size box –? But, as in your wonderful photos, my cats were enthused.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I suspect somewhere there’s a manager who won’t listen to his or her employees, and thus they just “do what we’re told.”
