Shooting at Virginia Tech

Some Call Him Tim, Laundro, and of course the Elf have all dropped me a note to call attention to the mass murder at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg today. At the moment the Washington Post is reporting that the shooter is among those killed. Hopefully this emergency is over, although I suspect we’ll be dealing with the aftermath for a very, very long time.
Even though the school has around twenty-eight thousand students, it still very much feels like a small, intimate community. I can only imagine what they’re going through right now.
