Troll Blog
September 16, 2007
I am contemplating a “troll blog.” The basic idea is this: I’ll look at Google Trends every day and blog about how the first five items on that list suck. Unless it’s something like Britney Spears’ latest stage performance, in which case I can blog about how everyone picking on her sucks.
For example, I could say something like:
Hey, have you heard about this Philidelphia Distance Run? What kind of crap is that? I certainly would never have anything to do with any Philidelphia Distance Run. I once saw Philadelphia try to run a distance, and had to scrub my eyeballs afterwards. Plus, their last album sucked and their fans are ugly and there’s too much garlic.
Yeah. Troll blog. I’ll set that one up and watch the money roll in. And by “money” I mean “abuse.”

Heck, with some Google Ads you might make some coin.
You could also throw in the most popular Wikipedia pages and most vandalized of same.

You could do that, yes. But why? It would not keep the trolls from coming here, too.

What, Fred, you mean the Flypaper strategy doesn’t work?!
