A further note on XBox Live

My free XBox Live account expires soon. For about two weeks of my free month, XBox Live has been acting flaky. I would be annoyed if I actually used the service, but I don’t, and so I’m not. It does make it slightly less likely to pay the subscription fee, but only slightly. After all, it was damned unlikely to begin with.

I don’t remember if x-box life required you to use a credit card to obtain your “free” account and if they did be careful and watch that end date because you’ll get hit up the second the clock rolls over. I made the mistake of allowing my son to use my credit card to sign on and then it was nearly impossible to stop x-box central from charging it.
