… doesn’t seem as bad when you watch the video as when you hear it on the radio. It’s a little strange, but in 2000 I would probably have given my left arm to have Al Gore show that kind of passion.

Thanks for the link. Yeah, it’s isn’t so bad. I think Dean’s wife got it right: kind of silly. But truly loony or scary? No. Anyone who doesn’t think so, check out the link above. And listen to the crowd–Dean is in synch with them, and they’re in synch with him.

Here’s commentary from the Columbia Journalism review: In A Hall of Mirrors, the Pundits Ponder Their Own Creation. The basic idea being that the media have latched onto the image they want to project for Dean the way they did Gore, and they aren’t going to let any facts get in the way.
