Did people really vote for him for this reason? I have enough trouble accepting that people voted for him because they wanted him to be President.
So in some far-flung distant future, when killer robots rule the Earth and vie for control of the galaxy with the evil lizard people, maybe, just maybe, then we can start thinking about sending our troops home from Iraq.

I heard several people say this is why they voted for him. Scary.
Basically, they decided to punish him for getting us into this mess…by making him president again. Argh.
