More on John Hagee

I hadn’t heard of John Hagee until he endorsed John McCain. But GLS is right. He’s an important member of the Christian Right and represents an enormous voting bloc. For McCain, who’s struggling to get the support of the religious fundamentalists he once called dangerous, Hagee’s endorsement is a really big deal. And worthy of a bit more serious examination.
To that end, you can watch the Bill Moyers Journal which just ran an episode about John Hagee (available entirely, and legitimately, online). I now know a lot more about him than I did a week ago. Hagee definitely falls into that category of people I believe worship a war god.
