Iconoclast or Noodle-Noggin

There’s an interesting article in the Washington Post about Lieberman’s recent political past:
bq. [Lieberman's] instincts for collegiality and bipartisanship, once regarded as virtues, are now seen as virtual disqualifications by his critics here and nationally. “I haven’t changed,” Lieberman explained in an interview aboard his campaign bus Friday. “Events around me have changed.” [ "Lieberman's Troubles [...]

And what can we do now?

At a certain point, I just want to withdraw from the news, so if I don’t say much about more than general principles, please forgive me. See, the [...]

Pollitically Correct

Today at World o’ Crap there’s an “excellent example of wingnut thin-skinned touchiness”:http://blogs.salon.com/0002874/2004/08/13.html#a1075. It’s all good, but scroll to point three, where Julie Gunderson complains in the same editorial that 1) liberals insist people be “politically correct” and 2) liberals were mean to her when she stated her opinion. (You can read her full Washington [...]
