Fun with photos

This is just funny. GOP Congressional candidate Kaloogian posted a street photo of a “peaceful Baghdad” on his web site supposedly taken during a recent visit, but it turns out that peaceful scene was “actually in Istanbul”:http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/008034.php.
When called out, he said it was an staffer error, and replaced it with another “peaceful” scene, this time [...]

The Conservative agenda, slowly exposed

FotF says they don’t concern themselves with food stamps because they are more focused on abortion; but that doesn’t mean they think poverty issues are unimportant. Matt says:

The speed of lies.

Terry Pratchett says: “A lie can run around the world before the truth gets its boots on.” Well, here’s a good lie. Remember those allegedly fake registrations in Ohio? The ones the RNC _knew_ were faked because mail sent to those addresses was returned as undeliverable?
“The returned mail was sent _registered mail_.”:http://www.mydd.com/story/2004/10/28/192844/76 Registered mail must be [...]
