New Smithsonian

Hey, does anyone know there’s “a new Smithsonian museum on the National Mall”:http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A39949-2004Sep21.html?

In other news, “the Udvar-Hazy center”:http://www.nasm.si.edu/museum/udvarhazy/ — expansion to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum — opens today in Chantilly, Virginia. There were no updates this last weekend because my parents were in town! Easter Sunday we went into the District to do some touristy things — most people were someplace else, it seems, so we had a pretty good time.
