Isn’t it beautiful? The Microsoft validation servers go down and people start having their computers nag them about piracy. The initial tech support response was that this would be fixed by Tuesday, but now at least one Microsoft employee is promising not to go to sleep until the problem is resolved.
Of course, if Microsoft wasn’t using such heavy-handed DRM tactics to begin with, then this wouldn’t be a problem. Here’s hoping this angers enough people that Microsoft decides this kind of copy-protection just isn’t worth the heartache. Nothing like accusing your paying customers of theft, eh?
