Torture and ticking prosecutors

At Sadly, No! where they cover Patterico’s hypothetical in a more, um, colorful way than I did yesterday, Gavin notes that Patterico has a role in law enforcement:

I want to note, just in case anyone hasn’t followed these sagas, that Patterico is a Los Angeles County prosecutor. This prosecutor is in favor of confessions obtained under torture. My WTFuckulator went on the blink quite awhile ago, but it’s nagging like a phantom limb.

Personally, that makes me glad I don’t live in LA.
