As time goes by

2003 April 25

Well, folks, I’m acutely aware that I haven’t been my normal ranty self. So here’s what’s been going on:

== ==

* I have been working on my new portfolio site. Thudfactor *used* to be the portfolio site, but it has been eaten by the Extra Hungry Weblog. And while I certainly don’t mind folks from where I used to work reading this thing (hi, guys!) I don’t think I’m going to spread it around if and when I get a new job.
* I have been working on a new web toy, previously hinted at. It’s almost ready for prime time. Or, at least, daytime talk shows. I have a list of new features I want to add to it as long as my arm, but I guess I should wait a bit and see how the core product goes over.
* I had my first job interview in two years. (Two years without a job interview is a record for me.)
* I have determined I have a need for a “BowFlex”:http://www.bowflex.com/, a “Handy Stitch”:http://www.asseenontv.com/prod-pages/handy_stitch.html, a “Chef Wizard”:http://www.asseenontv.com/prod-pages/chef_wizard.html, and a lot more life insurance. I probably also need to take medication for indigestion, depression, hair loss, acne, “Coral Calcium”:http://www.asseenontv.com/prod-pages/coral_calcium_daily.html, and I hear those early pregnancy test things are really useful but I think I’m the wrong gender so I’m holding out on that.

Come to think of it, I probably don’t need any of those things. What I need to do is stop watching daytime TV. Someone. Save me.
