Being no Martha Stewart fan myself, this really hadn’t occured to me until I saw a daily show rerun. (Daily Show Clip: Real Player required)
Why are we convicting Martha Stewart — and feeling triumphant about it — when all those other crooks are still around? Why aren’t the Enron crew in jail?
Martha wasn’t a Bush Pioneer like Ken Lay. I’m not suggesting there’s a connection, I’m just putting those statements really close together.
