Granite in Alabama

2002 October 18

Without asking anyone, not even is co-workers or the landlords of the property, Roy Moore installed in his place of work, in the middle of the night, a 2.5 ton granite monument to the Ten Commandments. “The basic issue is whether we will still be able to acknowledge God under the First Amendment, or whether we will not be able to acknowledge God,” he said according to the Washington Post. Roy Moore’s place of work is the Alabama State Judicial Building, and Roy Moore is the state’s chief justice of the Supreme Court.

Does that really need any more commentary? I think my regular readers can read The Post Article and pick out the logical flaws in his arguments on their own. :-)
