Polygeek Test

Date July 28, 2002

The fuali.com geek test is pretty good, but it doesn’t really test the essence of geekdom - - just whether one is a computer geek or not. So Sarah and I sat down and wrote a few questions over Margaritas the other day and came up with the Polygeek Test. And here is my result from my own test:

You are 60% geekYou are a geek. Good for you! Considering the endless complexity of the universe, as well as whatever discipline you happen to be most interested in, you’ll never be bored as long as you have a good book store, a net connection, and thousands of dollars worth of expensive equipment. Assuming you’re a technical geek, you’ll be able to afford it, too. If you’re not a technical geek, you’re geek enough to mate with a technical geek and thereby get the needed dough. Dating tip: Don’t date a geek of the same persuasion as you. You’ll constantly try to out-geek the other. Take the Polygeek Quiz at Thudfactor.com

I don’t have any nifty graphics to go with this one — I was too pooped after coding the thing. But if anyone has any ideas >hint hint

Great job! I left some suggestions over at my place. Hey, it’s late… if they suck, they suck! ;-) I am 37% geek, after all…

Ha! I’m 49% Geek (liason) and apparently, I go both ways. (How in the world would a quiz know this? I’m boggled.)

And I look like Kirsten Dunst. ‘cept I don’t.

Cool blog, John. Be proud of your carnivore ways, as it’s what separates us from fluffy bunnies. Well, the ears too.
