Radio Free America

Right now I’m listening to some MP3s of a cappella music I downloaded from a web site. Thanks to the efforts of this web site maintainer and his sample MP3s I’ve discovered several new bands. More than that, I now know how to separate bad a cappella from good. Meanwhile, on radio, Opie and Anthony are in trouble over a sex stunt in St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Let’s see… new exciting music? or sex in a cathedral? new exciting music? or sex in a cathedral?

Radio has failed us all. This is not news to you. Might be news to Clear Channel. Not news to you.

And even though the record labels have poured millions of dollars into Michael Jackson, Maria Carey, and Whitney Houston (kook, nut, and Farrakhanite) they haven’t realized anything close to what they wanted. Piracy? Or bad investments? You already know the answer to that one, but the Washington Post will tell you again if you like.
