I guess it’s not surprising, as our President — who has consistently proven that he views the Bill of Rights as an impediment rather than the closest thing secular government can have to holy writ — has a taste for dictatorship himself.
If terrorists hate freedom, it’s hard to see how Bush’s anti-terrorism policies at home and his installation of hostile dictatorships abroad can amount to anything less than appeasement. “You can’t destroy freedom! We’ll do it first!”

I am so confused. I’m not supposed to vote for Kerry because Osama *would like that*? But I’m supposed to support the killing of gays because … Osama hates gays too?
