But he’s our criminal

I see we fought a war to replace an anti-American Saddam with a “pro-American Saddam”:http://www.axisoflogic.com/artman/publish/article_10376.shtml. Score one for democracy there. I guess it’s not surprising, as our President — who has consistently proven that he views the Bill of Rights as an impediment rather than the closest thing secular government can have to holy writ — has a taste for dictatorship himself.

If terrorists hate freedom, it’s hard to see how Bush’s anti-terrorism policies at home and his installation of hostile dictatorships abroad can amount to anything less than appeasement. “You can’t destroy freedom! We’ll do it first!”

Speaking of appeasement, “what’s this nonsense at Bush Country”:http://www.bushcountry.org/news/columnists/tamara-wilhite/c_071504_wilhite_gay_marriage_terrorist.htm ? Tamara Wilhite seems to be saying that homosexuality is bringing the wrath of terrorists upon us. Is she suggesting we kill our gay people in order to prevent this? That’s what it seems like. (”Pete M. cannot be forgiven”:http://darkwindow.blogspot.com/2004/07/why-homosexuals-are-terrorist-magnets.html for bringing this to my attention.)

Wouldn’t that be blame-america-first appeasement? I mean, in addition to the obvious echos of Nazi mass-murder facism.

I am so confused. I’m not supposed to vote for Kerry because Osama *would like that*? But I’m supposed to support the killing of gays because … Osama hates gays too?

Brain hurting. Must go read more comic books.
