FINE. I’ll go out back, chop up a tree (using an American made ax), and make my own paper. I will then go and crush some berries to make fingerpaints. This will be followed by me strangling the head of whatever group of people thought it was a good idea to become dependent on products made in other countries. Then I will nap.

It is probably a plot from all the countries that have lost market share here in the US in the last 10-15 years. I also realize that I don’t NEED most of the crap that is produced in China…except my IPOD and my cell phone, and my chuck taylor shoes, and my…darn, this is going to be harder than I thought.
As for alternative art projects for children, I foresee a return to the paper plate/macaroni creations.

I second Glen’s motion, and recommend a scramble of all the Bonds, living and dead. (Are any of them dead?)

So, I guess kids might have to make do by being creative with sticks and cardboard boxes. I see a return to macramé and construction paper placemats in the country’s future.

I call for a metal detector scan of all large mountains to detect underground fortresses - stat!
