“Everyone knows” — or so they say — that terrorists are going to try to disrupt our elections to get John Kerry elected. Possibly using “money raised for them by the DailyKos”:http://www.dailykos.com/story/2004/10/27/145542/95.

Which explains why Department of Homeland Security Agents searched a toy store for knock-off Rubik’s Cubes, then forced the owner to “remove them from the shelves as they watched”:http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20041028/ap_on_fe_st/toy_store_homeland_security.

They have nothing better to do?

Even weirder: the knock-offs, called “Magic Cubes,” are _legal_ because the patent on the original had expired.
