Friday 10 #2

Another 10 lyrics for you to identify!

The answers from last week’s game are posted. Five of you guessed seven, which is pretty good considering this was the first time around. If you haven’t checked that page recently, I updated it to post videos with each entry as they were guessed. #8 was a song that was all over the place when it was released, and the lyric is in the chorus — but it was an “oh, so that’s what they are saying” moment for me, too.

Update, 5:30 PM : We’re already down to three lyrics remaining! If none of these are familiar, mabe you would like to try The Film Optimist’s set.

Now it’s time for another ten!

Remember:

  1. No searching (not that search even works anymore)
  2. Provide the artist and the song title, or at least near enough to both that I know what you’re talking about.
  3. I’ll accept (some) cover versions, depending on how well known those covers are. It’s a judgment call.

Rule 3 is particularly relevant today, since the cover is much better known than the original.

Hey! Ho! Let’s go!
